Privacy Policy

The short version

PMCS Guide does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. The app does not require an account. Everything you enter — vehicle bumper numbers, serial numbers, mileage, faults, operator name and rank — is stored only on your device. The app does not phone home.

What stays on your device

• Operator profile (name, rank, unit, supervisor)
• Per-vehicle profiles (registration / bumper number, serial number, last PMCS interval)
• Past PMCS sessions, including any faults you recorded
• App settings (theme, etc.)

This information is held in the app's local storage. Uninstalling PMCS Guide deletes it. There is no cloud backup we control. If your device backs up app data to iCloud or Google Drive, that backup is governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policy, not ours.

What leaves your device

• Subscription transactions. When you start the paid subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and a transaction receipt is forwarded by them to RevenueCat, our subscription provider, so we can confirm your subscription status. We do not see your name, email, payment method, or address — only an anonymous user ID and your subscription state. RevenueCat acts as our data processor.
• Feedback emails. If you tap "Send feedback" in the app, your device opens its built-in email app to compose a message to pmcsguide@gmail.com. We only see what you choose to write and send.

What we do not do

• No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs beyond RevenueCat.
• No location collection.
• No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with anyone, ever.

Children

PMCS Guide is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone in that age range.

Your choices

• Clear local data: Settings → "Clear PMCS history" wipes saved sessions. Uninstalling the app removes the rest.
• Cancel subscription: Manage in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Play Store → Subscriptions. Cancellation is honored immediately at the end of the current billing period.
• Restore purchase: Settings → "Restore purchase" re-syncs your subscription state from Apple / Google.

Changes

If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new policy will be hosted at this same URL. Material changes will be flagged in the app's update notes.
